while the guys in european flicks often seem as bored as can me, american movies--especially from the "major" studios--tend to have the opposite problem. the performers try to act soooo intense, as if sex is such a serious business and no playfulness is allowed. it comes off looking very stilted and artificial. falcon movies tend to fall prey to this, and taking flight #1 is unfortunately no exception despite a few very good-lookers (and a lot of rather-wouldn't-look-ats!), plus the intriguing on-location production (london) what a waste of the gorgeous coverboy jason adonis! he looks like he'd rather be somewhere else and if so i can see why. oh, the scene is definitely worth watching, but could have been so much better. for instance, when jason tries to lick the other guy's ass, the other guy keeps writhing and bouncing his buns up and down -- again, this is supposed to add intensity but in fact just makes the sequence less hot. i can almost imagine jason thinking, "how about just keeping your ass still for a minute so i can actually keep my tongue on it for more the one-half second at a time, and show the viewers some good rimming???" the other goodlookers are two blonde airplane passengers -- one in the window seat, and the other in the nearby aisle seat. they decide they'd rather, um, get into each others' seats, so to speak. as if this setting weren't absurd enough (they do it in the cabin with other passengers paying no attention), they do it with a supposedly sleeping woman in the middle seat between them. while this does indeed add a bit of levity, it completely ruins the sex for me. put these guys in a private setting, and this would have been one damn hot scene. what a waste. as for the other scenes, they're full of macho posing and faux intensity by guys who are definitely not my cup of tea. i'll trade one smooth, boyish, and natural-acting muscleman like jason adonis for dozens of the "mr. macho's" any day.
